I believe in simple things,
like the language of kindness,
the balm of practical help,
the joy of food to share,
and friends to share with.
I believe in working together,
to heal bodies, minds, and hearts,
to right the wrongs of injustice,
to turn anger to peace, fear to love,
and to be that peace and love.
I believe in stopping to look,
to wonder at, be lost in, and care for,
the beauty and mystery of Earth,
forests, mountains, and creatures,
for all this is part of my body too.
I believe in kindness and sharing.
I believe in working for the good of all.
I believe the Earth is my kin and future.
Nestled in these beliefs I find God.
